SFHK Partners with CR "Charge Wonderful" on Energy Efficiency Renovation Joining Hands to Build a Greener, Energy-Efficient Future for Hong Kong

(Hong Kong, 23 December 2025) S.F. Express (Hong Kong) Limited (“SFHK”) and CR “Charge Wonderful” officially signed an energy efficiency cooperation agreement in Hong Kong. The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Yang Ping, Chairman of the Board of CR Gas; Mr. Zhang Wei, Chairman of CR Longdation; Ms. Wen Xuefei, General Manager of CR Longdation; as well as Mr. Alex Ho, Director, Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of SF Group, and Mr. Steve Shum, Head of SFHK and Macau, along with other relevant representatives. The cooperation will see Charge Wonderful, a joint venture between CR Longdation and CR Gas, provide energy efficiency management services for SFHK’s logistics operations, supporting the company’s ongoing commitment to green and low-carbon development.
SFHK has been actively implementing the Group’s “Zero Carbon Future” sustainable development strategy. To address SFHK’s practical needs in warehouse energy-saving scenarios, CR “Charge Wonderful” will provide an AI-powered intelligent lighting management system and IoT-based smart sensing technology, enabling intelligent management of sensor-based dimming and dynamic lighting. This initiative is part of SFHK’s efforts to fulfil the Group’s green commitments. In April 2025, SF formally passed the target validation of the international Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), pledging to reduce its direct and purchased electricity-related indirect carbon emissions (i.e., Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions) by 42% by 2030 against a 2023 baseline. The Group is also working with partners across the value chain to reduce carbon emissions, progressing toward its long-term vision of achieving net-zero emissions across the entire value chain by 2050. Through this technological collaboration, SF will further enhance its green operational efficiency, achieving both cost reduction and sustainable growth.
“Charge Wonderful” is jointly established by CR Gas and CR Longdation, dedicated to providing smart and convenient green energy solutions for Hong Kong citizens and enterprises through innovative technology and efficient operations. Its business covers three major areas: building energy efficiency and smart operations, charging network construction and operation, and distributed solar photovoltaic systems. To date, Charge Wonderful has contracted over 40 charging stations across Hong Kong, deploying more than 1,000 charging points, and has put into operation distributed solar power projects with a total capacity of 1,862 kWp, serving Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Alex Ho, Director, Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of SF Group, stated, “This energy efficiency cooperation with CR is an important step in SF’s ongoing efforts to advance green logistics and improve energy efficiency. To systematically drive green transformation, SF has independently developed the ‘Fenghe’ sustainability management platform and established five core emission reduction pillars: green transportation, green parks, green technology, green packaging, and a circular supply chain. Through this joint cooperation with CR Longdation and CR Gas, we will explore energy efficiency management models better suited to Hong Kong’s local logistics scenarios. This will not only enhance SF’s green operational capabilities but also provide strong support for the company’s sustainable development. SF has been selected for the *Fortune* China ESG Influence List for four consecutive years, making it the only express logistics company to achieve this. Additionally, SF’s MSCI ESG rating was upgraded to ‘A’ in 2025, making it the first logistics company in China to receive this rating.
