Notice on Real-name Authentication for Taiwan Individual Imported Express Shipment

In accordance with the announcement from The Customs Administration, Ministry of Finance of Taiwan, that effective from 16 January 2020, all Taiwan individual imported express shipments require real-name authentication. If the consignee is an individual with household registration in Taiwan, the consignee shall download the “EZ WAY” real-name authentication APP (Android download/ iOS download) on mobile phone and perform the online authentication registration. Personal shipment without real-name authentication and confirmation of the corresponding consignee would not be accepted for import customs clearance.
