SFHK Echoes the Police Force’s “Anti-deception Month” Campaign to Remind the Public of Anti-deception Messages

  • SF Express (Hong Kong) Company Limited (hereinafter “SFHK”) is echoing the "Anti-deception Month" campaign by the Regional Crime Prevention Office New Territories North, Hong Kong Police Force, in November and December, including posting anti-phishing SMS posters and sharing anti-deception messages on SF Media in 24 SF stores located at New Territories North region, as well as distributing leaflets to customers, as to remind the public to pay attention to the latest scam methods, including phishing SMS messages and Phone scams pretending to be logistics companies, online shopping scams, online job hunting scams, etc. The Office also visited SFHK and held a seminar for staff to publicize anti-deception messages recently.

    Members of the public are advised not to answer these calls or respond to these SMS messages and protect sensitive personal information carefully. Under no circumstances should customers disclose personal information and password to any suspicious persons, or conduct any transfers or remittances.

    If customers are in doubt with the SMS messages or/and incoming calls, please contact SFHK at (852) 2730 0273 (Hong Kong) or (853) 2873 7373 (Macau) for verification. Customers may also report to Police or contact Anti-Deception Coordination Centre (ADCC) of the Police at Anti-Scam Helpline at 18222 for assistance if personal data may have disclosed to suspected parties.
