SFHK Standing with the Community to Support Tai Po Residents Latest Updates on Donated Supplies and Complimentary Logistics Support

Every colleague at SFHK, like everyone else, is deeply concerned about the neighbors in Tai Po affected by the fire. In the face of this hardship, we have channeled these sentiments into tangible support. Over the past days, the company has been fully dedicated to assisting with the collection, transportation, and distribution of supplies, hoping to deliver every ounce of the community’s warmth to families in need.
▍ Latest Update on Donated Supplies and Logistics Support (As of 4 December):
- Supply Collection: A total of 2,260 boxes of donated goods have been collected across 146 SF Stores in Hong Kong.
- Inquiries & Coordination: The 24-hour emergency support hotline has handled approximately 1,700 calls cumulatively.
- Supply Distribution: In response to requests from the government, charitable organizations, and the public, 40 transport vehicles have been arranged to deliver 192 pallets (approximately 38 tons) of supplies and medicines to interim housing and other necessary locations across various districts.
We sincerely thank our partners—including the Housing Bureau, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, the Red Cross, Lok Sin Tong, SideBySide, the Hospital Authority, and Towngas—for their trust and efforts in ensuring resources are properly delivered to affected families through the community network.
▍ Future Arrangements for material donation and support
Currently, we still have over 1,000 boxes of daily necessities in stock, including clothing, sanitary products, toiletries, warming patches, and chargers. Earlier this week, we responded to the “Government-coordinated programme” and registered the available supply inventory on the “Tai Po Hung Fuk Court Donation Platform,” fully cooperating with the government’s overall arrangements.
