SFHK Donates "Dr. MAC Classroom" Reading Programme and "Learning Living Chinese" Teaching Materials and Bookshelves to Promote Chinese Language Learning and Chinese Cultural Heritage Fostering Holistic Education Development

  •  (Hong Kong, January 29, 2026) SF Express (Hong Kong) Limited (hereinafter referred to as "SFHK"), upholding its corporate social responsibility and supporting local education development, recently participated in the "Dr. MAC Classroom" Reading Programme and "Learning Living Chinese" Bookshelf Donation Project (「大粒Mac教室」閱讀計劃及「語文的生命」書櫃頒贈儀式) initiated by Jingyuan Charity Foundation. The initiative involves donating bookshelves, parent-child picture books, and Chinese teaching materials to local primary schools, which will be placed in school libraries for use by teachers and students. The donation aims to enhance students' interest in learning Chinese language and culture through lively and engaging teaching materials and picture books in an innovative manner.

     

    Recently, representatives from SFHK attended the bookshelf donation ceremony. Mr. Steve Shum, Head of Hong Kong and Macau Region at S.F. Express, expressed during the event: "Language is not only a tool for communication but also an important means for cultural heritage and moral cultivation. SFHK is honored to support this initiative by donating parent-child picture books and Chinese teaching materials to help students across Hong Kong excel in Chinese language and understand Chinese culture. We hope these resources will enrich campus learning, integrate Chinese historical and cultural elements into education, and broaden students' horizons through reading, fostering a positive outlook on life."

     

    Promoting Positive Life Education and Fulfilling Corporate Social Responsibility

    Jingyuan Charity Foundation is committed to promoting positive life education. Its "Dr. MAC Classroom" Reading Programme, themed around the spirit of "Diligence, Sincerity, and Righteousness" (勤、誠、義) advocated by Dr. Cheng Yu Tung, combines with the "Six-Stage Chinese Learning Series"(凝皓六段) teaching materials compiled by Mr. Jayden Lam and his team to pass on Chinese culture and language knowledge in an engaging way. SFHK has always regarded educational support as a core part of its corporate social responsibility. Beyond this donation of teaching materials and bookshelves, the company also engages in diversified initiatives such as establishing scholarships, supporting sports training programs, and organizing workplace experience programs, continuously providing comprehensive growth support for local students and fulfilling its long-term commitment to nurturing the next generation.

Express (Hong Kong) Limited donated bookshelf and learning materials to The Salvation Army Tin Ka Ping School, aiming to enrich the school's educational resources, integrate Chinese culture into learning, and inspire students to explore knowledge and stimulate thinking. SFHK will continue to support students' holistic development through various initiatives.

    The parent-child picture books published under the "Dr. MAC Classroom" Reading Programme are themed around the spirit of "Diligence, Integrity, and Dedication" advocated by Dr. Cheng Yu Tung, using stories of great figures to instill positive values in students. The Six-Stage Chinese Learning Series, compiled by renowned Chinese language tutor Mr. Jayden Lam and his professional team, combines Chinese cultural allusion with engaging learning methods to encourage students to learn Chinese language and culture, laying a solid foundation in Chinese studies. These materials have been donated to multiple primary schools in Hong Kong and are available in school libraries for teachers and students to borrow and use.
