(Hong Kong, June 16, 2025) To meet the growing needs of cross-border e-commerce, SF Express (Hong Kong) Limited (hereinafter referred to as "SFHK") is actively expanding diversified last-mile delivery solutions. These include expanding the SF Locker network, adding more SF Stores and SF service partner locations for customer pick-up. During recent cross-border shopping peak, SFHK has fully activated smart logistics measures, introducing innovative "Mobile Lockers" to facilitate convenient pick-ups across different regions of Hong Kong.
Transforming Delivery Vehicles into "Mobile Lockers" to Flexibly Address Cross-border Shopping Surge
To handle the high volume of cross-border goods, SFHK has introduced "Mobile Lockers" as a temporary pick-up solution for specific times and areas with business peaks. Delivery vehicles have been modified into "Mobile Lockers." Based on parcel volumes and specific time slots, these "Mobile Lockers" will be deployed in various regions for customer pick-up. If the selected locker or pick-up point lacks sufficient space, parcels will be temporarily redirected to nearby "Mobile Lockers," and customers will receive SMS notifications with pick-up times, locations, and access codes. Customers can follow the instructions to complete their pick-ups using the access codes.
As temporarily measure, the deployment of "Mobile Lockers" will be adjusted daily based on daily cargo volumes to respond flexibly and quickly to demand. The locations of "Mobile Lockers" will be adjusted according to regional conditions, either fixed at specific points or rotated between different areas. They have already been successfully launched in regions such as Lai Chi Kok, Tung Chung, Tiu Keng Leng, and Sau Mau Ping, effectively reducing customer wait times for pick-ups.
Expanding Self-operated Resources: Recruiting Owners and Managers to Expand Business Opportunities
While addressing short-term peaks, SFHK is also focusing on long-term development by strengthening its self-operated network to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction. Currently, SFHK operates over 140 SF Stores and 900 24/7 SF Lockers across residential and commercial areas, providing flexible pick-up options for customers. SF Lockers offer round-the-clock self-service for sending and receiving parcels, allowing customers to enjoy convenient services and shipping discounts without waiting for couriers.
SFHK sincerely invites incorporated owners, property management companies, dormitories, schools, clubhouses, housing estates, walled villages, small houses and shopping malls owners to place SF Lockers, aiming to expand business opportunities and strengthen the service network.
SF Service Partner Locations Increased by Nearly 2.4 Times: Collaborating with Merchants to Expand Pick-up Network
Additionally, SFHK is expanding its pick-up network through partnerships with convenience stores, grocery shops, laundries, pharmacies, and other merchants. Since September last year, the number of SF service partner locations has increased from over 400 to more than 1,000, enhancing delivery efficiency and providing customers with more pick-up options.
