Adjustment of the Temporary Emergency Surcharge

Due to the recent epidemic prevention, traffic control and other control measures in Mainland and Taiwan region, the shipment delivery resources has been affected to various degrees. Facing uncontrollable factors under the epidemic, starting from 1 June 2022, the Temporary Emergency Surcharge will apply on documents and parcels sent from Hong Kong and Macau regions to Taiwan region, and for the Temporary Emergency Surcharge applied on documents and parcels sent from Hong Kong and Macau regions to the Mainland from 13 April 2022 will remain unchanged, to ensure stable and high-quality delivery services to customers.
The Temporary Emergency Surcharge will be adjusted according to different time periods. The fee adjustments will reflect market changes, emergency deployment of capacity resources, and restrictions on operations due to epidemic prevention measures in different regions. The company will pay close attention to market situation and make adjustments on the surcharge in a timely manner in response to the latest market conditions.

Remarks:
- Charges are calculated on a per shipment basis;
- The freight and the Temporary Emergency Surcharge will share the same payment method.
- If payment is made from a non-originating place i.e. Mainland or Taiwan region, the charge shall be based on the originating place’s charging standard and the actual payment amount shall be calculated according to the exchange rate of the place of payment.
