SFHK Alerts Customers to Beware of False Package Information and Various Phishing Scams

  • SF Express (Hong Kong) Limited (hereinafter referred to as "SFHK") alerts customers to beware of false package information and other kinds of scam. Recently, some criminals provide false package tracking number to customers and claim that the shipment has been sent, and then require the customers to pay, transfer money, or provide their personal or credit card information. SFHK hereby declares that these false information and website have nothing related to the company.

    All the shipment-related SMS and emails sent by the company will specify the correct waybill number. Customers can check the latest status of shipment through the below ways to avoid being cheated

    1. Customers can download the SFHK APP (SF-EXPRESS APP), or enter to the SFHK official website directly in the browser with hyperlink https://htm.sf-express.com/hk/en/ to check the authenticity of the waybill and the status of the shipment

    2. Customers can contact Customers Service Hotline at (852) 2730 0273 (Hong Kong) or (853) 2873 7373 (Macau) for verification. 

     

    SFHK would like to remind the following points:

    1. SFHK staff will NOT proactively communicate with customers in Putonghua or pre-recorded Putonghua voice messages, nor will forward the call to any law enforcement agencies

    2. SFHK has participated in the SMS Sender Registration Scheme and all the SMS will be sent by #SFExpress, making it more convenient for customers to identify the authenticity of the SMS.

    3. All the shipment-related SMS and emails sent by the company will specify the correct waybill number.No service charge amount will be indicated in the SMS messages and emails sent by SFHK and customers will not be requested to settle bill via any hyperlinks

     

    SFHK once again reminds the public to keep alert when conducting online transactions. Do not provide personal information and passwords through hyperlinks from unknown sources, or conduct money transfers and remittances. Customers may also report to Police or contact Anti-Deception Coordination Centre (ADCC) of the Police at Anti-Scam Helpline at 18222 for assistance if personal data may have disclosed to suspected parties.
