Emergency Announcement - Restrictions imposed on goods shipping to China (including Hong Kong and Macau) following the current outbreak of COVID-19

Dear customers:
In response to the requirements regarding the COVID-19 outbreak and its prevention, there are currently various restrictions on imports and exports between Taiwan and China (including Hong Kong and Macau). Please note:
- Restriction on exports of face masks: Before February 23, 2020, medical-grade face masks as well as masks made from textiles (including nonwoven face masks) may not be exported (please see Ministry of Economic Affairs announcement at https://reurl.cc/72aDgk; Customs Administration, Ministry of Finance announcement at https://reurl.cc/e5rO5b);
- Goods shipped to China (except for Hubei Province) are accepted as normal; only the export of face masks stated in 1. is not permitted;
- Only medical supplies will be shipped to Wuhan City, Hubei Province; only the export of face masks stated in 1. is prohibited;
- All goods shipped to Hubei Province (except for Wuhan), China, are currently suspended;
- For shipping goods to Hong Kong and Macau, only the export of face masks stated in 1. is not permitted; other goods are accepted and delivered as normal.
- Liquid medical and sanitary products containing alcohol such as hand sanitizer have been banned from aviation and cannot therefore be exported;
- The end date to the restriction stated in 1. is subject to the latest announcement of the Customs Administration, Ministry of Finance; the end dates to the restrictions stated in 2.-5. will be announced by S.F. Express.
Finally, in light of the epidemic outbreak and the extension of the Lunar New Year holidays in China (including Hong Kong and Macau), the arrival time of imports and exports will be affected.
