Notice Regarding the Submission of the "Certificate of Origin for Goods Exported to the United States" Effective May 7, 2025

In accordance with the letter from the International Trade Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs (Reference No. 1140652188) dated April 24, 2025, and pursuant to the amendment of Article 21 of the Regulations Governing Export of Commodities, the following requirement will take effect from May 7, 2025: For goods manufactured in Taiwan and exported to the United States, exporters filing general export declarations (Declaration Types: G3 Re-export of Foreign Goods, G5 Export of Domestic Goods, D5 Export of Bonded Warehouse Goods, B8 Re-export of Imported Goods (Raw Materials) from Bonded Factories, B9 Export of Products from Bonded Factories) must submit a "Certificate of Origin for Goods Exported to the United States" along with the existing export documentation as required.
