In response to the improvement of transportation in rural areas by Ministry Of Transportation And Communications, Taiwan S.F. Express together with Taipei City Motor Vehicles Office, Directorate General of Highways and Shuangxi District Office of New Taipei City strive for Rural Free Bus, which donated NT$200,000 dollars to subsidize operating expenses.
Shuangxi District which is surrounded by mountains, traffic is not convenient. The bus stop signs for external traffic are at least 1, 2 kilometers away from the homes of some residents. Rural Free Bus uses medium-sized buses to drive in areas close to mountains and narrow roads to satisfy local residents and elderly people with disabilities for medical treatment, schooling, shopping and other livelihood needs.
