UU.Notice from US Customs Regarding the Provision of Full Sender/Recipient Details for ACAS from October 3, 2024 Onwards

Dear Customers,
S.F. Express has been notified by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) of additional declaration requirements under the Air Cargo Advance Screening (ACAS) program. From October 3, 2024 onwards, all express shipments destined for or transiting through the United States. The following additional information must be included in the pre-entry declaration and will be subjected to rigorous screening:
- Telephone number of the sender
- E-mail of the sender
- Telephone number of the recipient
- E-mail of the recipient
To improve the safety and efficiency of international cargo transportation, you are now required by the CBP to declare the corresponding sender/recipient telephone numbers and e-mail addresses for all express shipments being transported by air to or through the United States, from October 3, 2024, onwards. If there any consistencies or violations are detected by CBP screening, this will not only lead to delays in clearing express shipments but possibly also the rejection of the shipment and fines.
