    The fuel surcharge is an additional fee charged by shipping companies and other logistics transportation operators to reflect changes in fuel prices. Its purpose is to appropriately mitigate the impact of fuel price fluctuations on transportation industry costs, thereby ensuring service quality.

  • Service Coverage

    1. Applicable to all outbound express shipments from Taiwan.

  • Cost

    · Freight × Current month’s fuel surcharge rate (see latest announced rate details)

    · The fuel surcharge rate for the current month is calculated based on the price of aviation fuel per-gallon in the US Gulf Coast (USGC) announced by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) two months prior.

    · How to pay: Same payment method as the shipping delivery payment method.

    · S.F. Express (Taiwan) offers the following fuel surcharge discounts:

    § Outbound documents from Taiwan to Hong Kong, Macau, and China with a weight of 2.5 kg (or less): Fuel surcharge exempted

    § Outbound CD express (International business express) from Taiwan to China: Fuel surcharge exempted
