Taiwan S.F. Express Family Sports Day ‘The brave are fearless, rise with S.F.’

Taiwan S.F. Express strongly believes that a happy and healthy staff is the cornerstone of a caring company. In order to promote staff vitality and their holistic well-being, as well as to inspire positivity, Taiwan S.F. Express held its annual Family Sports Day on the 24th (of July). The event was themed “the brave are fearless, rise with S.F.," and garnered the enthusiastic participation of close to over a thousand Taiwan S.F. Express staff and family members. Taking part in various team competitions enhanced the spirit of communication and mutual cooperation, and made for an enjoyable Sunday between fellow colleagues and family members. Taiwan S.F. Express was founded in 2007, and holds an undisputed competitive edge in logistics for China, Hong Kong, and Macao. This year marks the first time that Taiwan S.F. Express is opening its services to include Europe, giving customers a more comprehensive and higher quality of service. In future, we will offer an innovative service that combines smart technology with logistics, forging a more ideal logistics service with consumers’ needs in mind.
Taiwan S.F. Express General Manager, Mr. Jaymison Huang stated, “Our employees are our company’s most important asset. As the scale of our business increases, we not only offer our staff highly competitive salaries together with a safe and comfortable working environment, caring for and developing our employees is equally important to us. Having happy and healthy staff is crucial to building a caring company. Supportive family members allow our employees to focus on their duties, and so we have organized the Family Sports Day event, giving employees a day off in lieu, and invited our employees’ family members to the event to foster closer family ties. Maintaining good ties with our staff ensures our company’s sustained development, and having healthy and vivacious employees is what brings enhanced business performance and the reason behind a successful company.”
This year, the Family Sports Day theme is “the brave are fearless, rise with S.F.” Staff members were divided into eight teams, each named after heroes from "The Avengers" movie, such as Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Ant Man, Spider Man, Batman, and Superman. Each team wore the colors of their respective hero. The first event consisted of a “confrontation” and “face off” between the teams to select the most eye-catching team, for which team members took time to practice over and over again. The second event was a fun workout, where all employees swayed and danced to music, releasing the stress accumulated from day to day work. There were also games and an inflated playing area for the children, who filled the venue with sounds of cheer and surprise. Through games such as the tug of war, obstacle relay race, dodgeball and double face-off, teams had to accomplish their own goals, and even rely on inter-team cooperation to complete all missions. Just as in the movie – internal friction and dissent eats away at the team’s collective potential. Victory can only be achieved by putting aside personal differences, cooperating, and playing to each individual’s strengths.
As Taiwan S.F. Express moves into our 10th year, we have close to 1,300 employees and 600 vehicles. More than half of our employees engage in goods’ collection and delivery (all of them are full-timers), and we will have close to 50 logistics hubs by the end of the year. “Taiwan S.F. Express is where the customer is.”While our service is mainly based in Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, and Macau, we have followed in Taiwanese businessmen’s footsteps and spread our business to include Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, and America. This year will be the first time we are spreading our operations to include 28 European countries, including England, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, for global service coverage. We are also actively developing cross-border e-commerce with a number of well-known customers, and have set up exclusive logistics centers for these customers in Taoyuan, providing them with one-stop cross-border e-commerce services. This year is a year marked by aggressive growth in business for Taiwan S.F. Express. We will spare no effort in developing the Taiwan market, grooming local brands, and also to build closer ties in Taiwan.
