[Important Notice] Taiwan SF Express Urges Customers to Beware of New Malicious Phishing SMS Scam

2023.5.22
  • Dear Customers,

We would like to inform you about a recent phishing scam where fraudulent SMS messages are being sent to customers, falsely claiming to be from Taiwan SF Express. These messages allege that there was an error in the delivery address and that the package cannot be delivered. They include phishing links that redirect customers to fake websites, aiming to deceive customers into providing personal and credit card information for fraudulent purposes. In some cases, customers may receive messages stating that payment is required for unsuccessful delivery and subsequent re-delivery. For example:

Taiwan SF Express hereby declares that we are not associated with these fraudulent SMS messages or websites. We would like to remind our customers and the general public to remain vigilant and take note of the following precautions to avoid falling victim to scams:

    1. Employees of Taiwan SF Express will not request sensitive personal information such as identification document numbers, bank accounts, passwords, or credit card numbers through phone calls, emails, SMS messages, or website links during the delivery process.
    2. Our notification SMS messages do not include any charges, and we do not require customers to make payments through website links.

    3. We recommend downloading the Taiwan SF Express App or using the official Taiwan SF Express website to check the latest status of your shipment:
