  • With Taiwan combating COVID-19, Taiwan S.F. Express is launching contact-free Signing Services

Use LINE Pay for contact-free convenience and safety

As the epidemic alert level remains at Level 3, online shopping has become the main means of conducting business, and logistics services are the final component for the distribution of products. Logistics personnel aren’t just front-line couriers, but also at the forefront of preventing the COVID-19 epidemic. Taiwan S.F. Express has launched “Contact-free Signing” Services to maintain excellent services, and safeguard the health and safety of our customers and employees while lowering the risks of contracting COVID-19.

Taiwan SF Express states that the three major measures for “Contact-free Signing” are: 1) introducing a “signature-free mechanism” where the courier and recipient speak through the phone and agree to have the package dropped at a designated location. After taking a photo and sending a notification, the recipient can then collect the package at the agreed time. 2) using “photographed signatures” where the courier and recipient speak through the phone, and the package is placed at a well-ventilated location while maintaining social distancing. The recipient will use their own pen or stamp to sign the package over, and the courier will take a picture of the signature to complete the delivery. 3) download the “Taiwan S.F. Express APP” to generate a QR code for signing packages. The recipient just needs to click the “Door-to-Door Signing Code” feature in the App, and show the QR Code when the courier delivers the package to have it scanned and complete the delivery. After completing the aforementioned “Contact-free Signing”, the details of the order are updated and can be found on the Taiwan S.F. Express website, APP, and WeChat.

In addition, only monthly customers can have their packages collected at the door during Alert Level 3 to comply with the government’s anti-epidemic policies and maintain the service quality. Non-monthly customers are recommended to use mobile payment for shipping fees to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 through cash transactions. Taiwan S.F. Express is the first logistics company to cooperate with LINE Pay to pay shipping fees, making it a new option for paying living expenses while enjoying event rewards from time to time. People can conveniently and safely make contact-free payments and transactions during the epidemic.

Before Taiwan entered Alert Level 3 for the COVID-19 epidemic, Taiwan S.F. Express had already prepared and provided couriers with masks, disinfection alcohol, and goggles. The Company’s employees are also taking temperature measurements, and monitoring their own health at all times. If they are carrying out delivery services to high-risk locations, they will need to wear protective clothing when necessary as the Company values the health and safety of its employees.

Taiwan S.F. Express uses “One Package, One Heart” to make sure that customers’ rights for deliveries aren’t impacted during the epidemic, and will provide full-load deliveries three times a day. The Company uses its industry-leading cross-border logistics across the Taiwan Strait to provide Taiwan home delivery and international express services. In addition, the Company’s exclusive warehouse and logistics center in Taoyuan was officially activated during March 2021 to provide customers with integrated (warehousing and delivery) cross-border e-commerce services.
